Question about Video Game Consoles & Games

1 Answer

"Smart Cycle" won't steer. We received a smart cycle on Saturday, and put it together, but it won't steer on-screen. Could this be our fault when putting it together, or is it a known problem, or must I send it back? Any suggestions welcome. Thankyou

Smart Cycle. Worked Fine yesterday. Changed the batteries, Connections are tight. Turn it on, Nothing No lights on the cycle , nothing on the tv screen.. Other toys work well on the same TV. Help

do you know where you put the cartridge in below where you placed the 4 screws you can take those apart and you will see some cables inside you will see a red and back one together thats the power from the batteries below. i cut mine and drilled a hole on the side where my son wouldnt hit the cable and now my smart cycle doesn't use batteries it uses the power in my house to power it. i used a 4.5 volt 350 mA power supply for some other deal. i had laying around.
you can use 6volt power supply and that will work i wouldnt go higher than 6 volts since 4 D batteries add up to 6 volts 1.5 x 4 = 6 volts. the watts doest really matter since the device will use what it needs.
black cable on power supply goes to red on bike black and white cable on power supply goes to black cable on bike
at least thats how it worked on mine it didnt hurt my bike i had to switch the cables around i didnt have the polarity right the first try.

Dog chewed through smart cycle cord--how can we fix it?

what you could do is if you know how to use a soldering iron is to strip the wires expose the copper and match the colours of the insulation and solder the wires back together but to be honest you you dont know how to solder you might aswell get a new cable

My grandsons dog chewed thru the wires leading to the TV. I need the wiring diagram to reconnect the wires. I also need to know how this item is activated utilizing a tv,s vcr connections, yellow video,...

Yes, your colors are correct. To rewire the two ends together, use a method similar to THIS, (it is about audio, but the same theory applies to all three cords)

If the cords are completely severed and you do not know which wire went to which color, you can rewire them to any color you wish. You may just have to plug/unplug them to the tv with trial and error until you figure out which one belongs where.

Our FisherPrice SMart Cycle won;t turn!

I would suggest unplugging the 3 RCA connection cords and making sure they are all tight. I had the same problem when I first hooked the system up. After unplugging and reconnecting the RCA cords it worked fine. I do have a problem with the system resetting periodically... will check the power switch to ensure the screws are tight.

I need a manual to your fisher price smart cycle

The only manual I can find is the Assembly manual, which can be found here.

Please let me know if this helps. Take care!
