Question about Packard Bell PC Desktops

My packard bell imedia computer has become really slow and there is a sort of loud morse code noise coming out of the pc when its loading things up, im not sure what this is or how to fix it

You have to clean your hard drive by disk cleaning utility then remove all the unwanted programes then defragment the disk and scan for the viuses

I have a Packard Bell iMedia SL 9553, The odyssey Boot Floppy has been lost, Any Way I could get a copy to restore the computer using the Master Discs I have?

Excessive fan noise at start up


Check if fans are covered wit dust or wires block the airflow,
if stil u get the sound then you have to replace the fans

Ubuntu requires high graphic memory on your computer. It could install on some components but it doesn't work on whole installation process. If you are having a desktop machine, add graphic/video card to the motherboard so that Ubuntu will finally be installed in your computer.

Packard bell imedia alt-col2 just keeps beeping on and off


Find out what's making the noise first. It's either your fan or your hard drive. Check to make sure the noise your're hearing isn't your fan cutting into one of your wiring harnesses. That could be why you have the video problems. If it's your hard drive making the noise, that means it's on it's way out and you should immediately back up your files on disk and replace the drive before you lose everything.

open ur computer case and if u r using a sata harddrive try unplugging it from the motherboard and then again plugging it.it will work.i also had the sme problem and i solved it in this way
