Question about Sony SPP A945 Cordless Phone (SPP-A945)
I have a telephone set Sony Spp-A945.I do not use it some years.Now I use it again. It can work well. Some days before I try to use the "speed dial". I push the button"PGM" and set the speed dial ”1“ and the phone number------. Then I push the button "speed dial". It is finished the setting operate. After that I push button "speakphone" and "speed dial" then "1". It no reply. I push the "PGM" and setting number again. It is useless. It can not send phone number after using "speed dial". Why? Does I wrong opearte? This is my first problem.
Sencond problem is from that setting my phone's "phonespeak" can not work. As you press this button "speakphone", there is no any voice "ong ong ong" as before from the speaker setting in phone.
Can you kind help me to settle this problems?

Did the location change, a Echo from a wall or vibration from the table. It is a one way sound, someone talks and you hear. As soon as you talk it cuts out the speaker even if they are still talking and it transmitts what you say. So any noise in the room could trigger the the transmit mode even an echo from the sound being turned up too loud. The mike is on the bottom of the base and can pick up table vibration and send it into transmit mode. So the person talking cuts in and out.

1.Press PGM. The Talk/Batt Low lamp flashes.
2. Press SPEED DIAL.
3. Press one of the dialing keys (0-9) to store phone number. You will hear confirmation beep.
4. Enter the phone number you want to store (up to 20 digits)
5. Press PGM. You will hear a long confirmation beep and number is stored. Tall/Batt Low lamp goes off.
Do not allow more than 20 between each step of the procedure. If you enter a wrong number, press PGM and start over.
