i just bought a used samsung blackjach i607 today and the phone wont let me do anything because its says unlock at the bottom of the screen i click on it and says this device is locked please enter your device password and press the soft key done what do i need to do?

hold up on the nav key while turning the phone on. choose Y for yes. This will wipe it clean, uncluding the password.

i've just bought used samsung i-670 blackjack and when i turn on the cellphone it keeps asking to enter the password. Any new idea to unlock the password for the phone.
