If you are using windows OS please go the the control panel. here's how you do it:
go to settings and click control panel
double click Sounds and Audio devices
click on Audio
beside the speaker logo clik volume
on the master volume drag the slider upward.
There you go!

When you plugged it into your laptop, turned it on and increase the volume, do you hear only a humming sound from the speakers? Try to plug the speaker to an mp3 player as well to test if it still doesnt give out any sound. If it still doesnt, then your speaker must have a wiring connection problem inside that needs resoldering. Here I supposed that your laptop's internal speakers is working and is able to work with other audio devices like a headset or an earphone.
you have to make sure you increased the volume on the computer itself.go to the control panel and click on sound, speech and audio devices.change the volume settings and speaker settings.this should bring about the desired result.
Your sub woofer is not mean for voice sound...check that you have connected the systen up properly and that you have put the sub woofer into its wn connection..if it is in the right connection the woofer could be blown.also try decrease the midrange hurts on the woofer
Hi cliff, Have you set the volume on the Subwoofer itself yet??? if so also have a look at your PC Sound volume , for example Start Control Panel , Sound , and adjust it higher there ;) Hope this helps bud , and happy new year :)
You are getting low volume because there is no amplifier in those speakers. Computer speaker sets are powered -- there is an amp in one of them them which drives both speakers -- a computer audio output without an amplifier will only satisfactorily drive headphones.
it may be another volum seting on you computer like it could be the wave, the master the SW synth, or the CD player volum controles. to do this right click on the volium control on the right lower part of your scren and slect and say open volum control. this should show all the volum controls for your computer a increase the volium.
