The are a number of reasons why your H20 mop doesn't steam. Ensure that the water tank has correct level of water. Check if the Steam Nozzle has a blockage and clean if it's necessary. Also, check for limescale deposit and removed it. You may refer to your unit's manual for procedures to remove limescale.

What may have happened is the steam/water may have gotten in to the motor some how and is shorting it out.
Put vinegar in it and let it sit for several hours. Then turn it on to heat the vinegar. It should start to sputter and you may see some material ejected. This is good. Now dump out the vinegar and fill with water, make steam and let it push out any more material that caused the clog. You may have to do this several times in order to get the vinegar smell out.
Potential problem is steam entering the electrics causing a short. Try and put appliance in an airing cupboard overnight and see if this helps. Good luck, Graham
