Nikon Coolpix as webcam?

Is there a program I can use to get my Nikon Coolpix to be usable as a webcam? I have tried the mini-USB to regular USB connection, but I can't get the camera to send informtion with that. I have successfully used the audio/video to connecct the camera to my old television. However, my compuer does not have the yellow and white audio and video feeds that the cable that came in the box uses. Is there a program or patch I could install, or could I use a mini usb to serial connection? Thank you
