No sound system in my pc

Hi, this is usually because the driver for the "sound card" or the software that is supposed to control it has a problem. You can go to start, control panel, and click on sound, speech and audio devices. After that, click on sounds and audio devices.
A new menu pops up and on the first volume tab you will see the name of your sound card. You will see various troubleshooters and reports on the function of your devices that are related to sound.

If you go to the hardware tab, the next menu pops up as shown below. Find the name of your sound card, and click the properties button. On that tab, look at the driver and the date. Make sure that it is verified, and if it was changed around the time your sound stopped working the first step would be to roll the driver back. If not, click the update driver button and let the search for it go to the internet.

The sound card rarely goes bad, because it is inside the computer. If the above doesn't work, there are other ways to troubleshoot and correct the problem. If you can't find the issue by following these instructions, you might want to take a look at the following tutorial.
After that, leave me comments and we can go through further steps at reinstalling the sound card so that it functions properly.
