Question about Lenovo 3000 N200 T7100 1.8G 1GB 160GB SYSTDVDRW 15.4-WXGA WL BFP XPP PC Notebook
I purchased two lenovo 3000 N200 laptops for my children. As we have a main home computer which has internet. We decided not to put it on the laptops. This way we would have control of what sites they visit. They are for homework use. They mainly use the word processor on them. A site comes up asking for the product key, so the computer could be registered. The only one we found was at the bottom of the laptop. We type it in and it says it is inncorrect. Only CD's we recieved were for recovery. I assume that is if the computer crashes, there are 6 of them. The book that came with the computer was of no help, need a better manual with more detail on setting up. Is it possible to continue useing these laptops without registering them. I really do not want to connect them to the internet. We have had issues with them going on the wrong sights especially our teenage son. Help would be appreciated as I not very computer savvy.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
