Question about Creative Labs Zen Touch MP3 Player
I have a new-out-of-the-box 2004 (I think) 20GB Zen Touch. Never been used except to listen to the demos that came loaded on it.
I downloaded some upgrades from Creative. When I was downloading the firmware upgrade the process stopped and displayed the message "The device is not connected to your computer."
Now the mp3 player window says:
Creative Zen Touch v0.0.10.
1. Clean Up
2. Format All
3. Reload Firmware
The Creative tech support guy on the phone says it's dead.
It's brand new!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you mean you want to update the firmware? Or your player is frozen?
If frozen, there's a hole in the left side of the device, the restart button is in there, find something thin enough and push it.
To update your firmware, go to www.creative.com and download the latest firmware installer, dock your zen with your PC and run the installer, following it's instructions as you go.
