Question about Dell Latitude D600 Notebook
I just bought a used Dell Latitude 600 and it opened without any problems. I set up an administrator and my own personal user with the same password, but now whenever I shutdown or restart, there is no login needed. It goes automatically without any password needed to administrator. I can log-off and change users, but whenever I re-start it goes straight to admin without asking for anything, no welvome screen or anything. I tried to look-up help, but I couldn't figure it out. help!
Firstly start by opening your run box and enter control userpasswords2
When the user accounts window opens, check the box which states 'Users must enter a username and password to use this computer' and apply the setting.
You will be requested for the username and password of the account you wish to automatically logon as for following reboots of your system.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
