ALL you need to do is use [Action] or [Interactive] menu --->[Transformation] --> [dms] (to convert from degrees, minutes, seconds to (degrees) form) or [toDMS] (for the opposite process).
Good luck, mates!

How do I input Degrees-Minutes-Seconds to convert to Degrees? Vice-Versa.

On any calculator, let's convert degrees-minutes-second to degrees and then we will do the reverse.

Let's start with the number of seconds in a minute - 60, so we must take the seconds and divide by 60 to get the number of minutes. Next, add the number of minutes. The number of minutes in a degree is 60, so we take this total and divide by 60. Now we add the number of degrees to get out final answer.

Example: 35 degrees 50 minutes 32 seconds
(32/60 + 50)/60 + 35 = 35.842222 degrees

Just out of interest, let's start with 35.842222 degrees and convert it to degrees-minutes-seconds. We know it is 35 degrees, the whole number. Now we have to determine the minutes and seconds. Start by subtracting 35 to get the decimal 0.842222. Now multiply by 60 to get the number of minutes. I get 50.5332. Subtract 50 from this and multiply again by 60. I get 31.9992, which rounds to 32 seconds.

Good luck.

How can i convert decimal in degrees, minutes and second

I don't think I have that calculator, but let's work through it with any calculator.

Let's say our heading is 45.3275 degrees. So we know it is 45 degrees, so subtract 45 from the number and multiply by 60, since there are 60 minutes in a degree. I get 19.65. So now we have 45 degrees and 19 minutes. Subtract the 19 minutes to calculate the number of seconds by multiplying the result by 60. I get 39 seconds. Overall, we have 45 degrees, 19 minutes, and 39 seconds.

Good luck.

Hp 32sII enter degrees minutes seconds

According to the "HP 32SII RPN Scientific Calculator Owner's Manual" (at the link below), you just need to treat degrees, minutes, and seconds conversions as hours, minutes, and seconds. Use the left-shift and right-shift keys together with the 5 key to convert to decimal-fraction form (D.d format) and to minutes-seconds form (DD.MMSSss), respectively.

I just buy a new HP 10bII, and I can't find de DMS and H button

The 10BII doesn't do trig and doesn't have functions for converting between degrees-minutes-seconds and decimal degrees. The 10BII+ does do trig but still lacks the conversions.

Can I convert Decimal Degrees to Degrees, Minutes, Seconds on my casio fx-991 ES?

Yes. Pressing the DMS key (two keys above the 8 key) when a result is displayed toggles the result between decimal degrees and degrees-minutes-seconds.

For example, to convert 3.5 degrees, press 3 . 5 = and you'll see 3.5. Now press DMS and you'll see 3 degrees 30 minutes 0 seconds.

2.45.35 hours - 0.23. 12 hours = ?. a short quick method please

Seconds: Subtract 12 from 35 to get 23.
Minutes: Subtract 23 from 45 to get 22
Hours: Subtract 0 from 2 to get 2.

Put the three together to get 2.22.23

This one was easy because there was no need for carry. If you do have to carry, just make sure you carry 60. Otherwise, it's exactly the same as when you learned subtraction in second grade.

Some calculators have conversions between decimal degrees/hours and degrees/hours:minutes:seconds. If you have such a calculator, you can convert both numbers to decimal, subtract, and convert back. Since you didn't specify what calculator you have, I can't tell whether this is an option for you.

How to switch from the decimal degree to degrees, minutes, seconds

Keys 1. I displays the following menu that lets you change the angle mode setting to DEG, RAD, and GRD without affecting the value in the display. DEG Sets degree mode. RAD Sets radian mode. GRD Sets gradient mode. The default setting is DEG. 2. = displays a menu that lets you specify the unit of an angle. º Specifies degrees. å Specifies minutes. æ Specifies seconds. r Specifies radians. g Specifies gradients. DMS Lets you convert an angle from decimal degrees to DMS notation. Notes · The examples on the transparency masters assume all default settings. · Angles with a trig function ignore the angle mode setting and display results in the original unit. Otherwise, angles (without a trig function) are converted and displayed according to the angle mode setting. · You enter decimal-degree angles the same as you would any other number. · For decimal/DMS conversions, the calculator interprets all values as degrees, regardless of the angle-unit setting. · DMS angles are entered as º (degrees), ´ (minutes), and ´´ (seconds You watched 2 videos that were 2:05 (2 hours and 5 minutes) and 1:46 (1 hour and 46 minutes) in length.
