If you are good with computers, i would recommend Acer since it is cheaper.
If u dont know anything about computers, go for HP or DELL, which provides software support for the computer.

Don't forget to check the warranty documents before u buy any brand.

I want to buy a Dell Laptop based on Intel I3 core processor. But i heard that it doesn't suuport C++ compiler. Is it true? If yes then which Laptop shall i purchase that can support C++,Java...

Hello,
c++ supports just about any processor. The issue may lay in the OS you choose, and how new / old your c++ compiler is.
I have compiled code on Windows 7 using i3, and i7 processors just fine, with Visual Studio 2010 in c#, c++.
I doubt you will have an issue unless your c++ compiler / interpreter software is really old.

MY DVD DRIVE CAN READ BUT UNABLE TO WRITE DISCS WHAT IS THE PROBLEM DO I HAVETO REPLACE THE PART

Hi,

The problem is, that you have a really simple DVD ROM (drive)

you cant really solve this problem, the only thing that you have to do is to buy a new one which will be more expensive.
However it will write discs and have many more features.

you can buy new CD/DVD ROM at any technology shops such as PC WORLD, i recomend you to buy one at "ebay' because you will get the same product a you can buy at shop, but it will coast you much less

Copier Scanner

windows xp, yes. just look for printers which support windows xp.

you may have to upgrade your ram, but many hp machines (as well as other brands) will support pentium II's (10 year old technology) as long as they have 128megs of ram and a usb port. you may also have to update internet explorer (prolly to register the new printer).

the hardware interface matters only when it comes to printer port v/s usb, and most laptops and printers made in the last 5 years will all support usb. make sure the printer does not specify usb 2.0 in its minimum requirements, as this is a fairly new usb standard which was not around 5 years ago.

otherwise, make sure your laptop supports the other minimum requirements for the printer, as the printer's software may not load if the minimum requirements are not meant.

personally, i would recomend an hp, and a simple one at that; the more bells and whistles (such as flash card readers) the harsher the minimum requirements will be.
