Question about Dell Dimension 8200 PC Desktop
Can not get webpages to open on desktop - connected to router via ethernet cable - router working fine - can connect from laptop on wireless card without problems. When you run "troubleshooter" says connected to network but still can not get webpages to open - have tried Mozilla and IE without success
Try going to command prompt and type ipconfig /release
Then type ipconfig /renew after the IP is released. If you like, I could remotely connect and troubleshoot it for you.

Tips for a great answer:
The radios used for WiFi communication are very similar to the radios used for walkie-talkies, cell phones and other devices.
you need to connect your desktop to the router via RG45 ethernet cable.
