Did you ask dell this? first. for this 11 year old , old PC?
why not? (sold 2 years before w7 was released to market)
after thing can change,... support, ways and means.
is your data backed up,. this is always question 1, ?
windows 7 you say? HOW?
did it come new like that, no, or upgraded from Vista, and if yes, how.?
Dell disks or Microsoft disks (then) we cant know the history here, see? and that matters.
the Dell site shows that this PC, did not come with W7 ever.
windows 2000 to vista 64, ends.
so then how did this PC get w7. (you,or did you buy this used PC with w7, or had someone do that?, then lost the disk?>)
if you read this page, you learn just what Dell drivers are support there. not w7, as it shows clearly.

here and endless, text page, on one guy paying and asking this question.
tedious endless Q & a

some answers above, link, are now wrong, do to Dell ending support, and links dead too... time passes things change.
There are many other answers to this,
get newer PC
buy w7 , from Microsoft,
install it, and then spend all week finding drivers 1 by 1, that do no work now. (sound, Ethernet dead, wifi, etc)
in some cases we can, in others can not , and must replace any devices that has no w7 driver in earth.
like say a USB wifi dongle. that supports w7,
good luck fixing old PC, for sure.
Buy w7 and load it again, short answer,
when you see things are dead, as is common.
ask for help thing by thing.,...
