How to change number when sending text messages, iPhone

<p>Sending an SMS from your mobile phone does not need to be complemented with your mobile phone. Google Voice and Spooftel allow you to send a text message from your phone using an application that turns your phone. You need a Google phone Voice to text messages and Spooftel is only available to "jail-broken" iPhones. <br /> <p><br /> <p>Google Voice <br /> <p>1. Visit Google and click on "More" followed by "More" and "Voice". <br /> <p><br /> <p>2. Log into your Google account and click "create an account." Enter your personal data and click "I accept. Create my account." You will receive an e-mail to your alternate account: Click the link in the email to verify your account. <br /> <p><br /> <p>3. Click "Get a Number" and enter your area code and / or word phrase to use as a phone number and click 'Search'. Select the desired number and click Continue. " <br /> <p><br /> <p>4. Enter a PIN code to access your voice mail account. PIN codes must be four digits and can not name the number or range of numbers. Click "Continue" and fill in your phone. <br /> <p><br /> <p>5. Click "Call Me Now." You receive a call to your other number for verification purposes. Enter the code shown on the configuration page of Google Voice and wait for confirmation. After the confirmation number, your account will be set up and ready for use. <br /> <p><br /> <p>6. Open the browser on your mobile phone and go to the address Google Google mobile application downloaded to your mobile phone. Go to your Google account and click "Menu" followed by "Compose" to create and send a text message. The message is sent through your Google Voice number. <br /> <p><br /> <p>SpoofTel <br /> <p>1. Enter a "Prison Break" Cydia on your iPhone and charge the device. This makes it possible to accept non-Apple applications. <br /> <p><br /> <p>2. Open Cydia and hit the "Search" icon. Enter "SpoofTel" in the search box and hit the title when it appears in search results. <br /> <p><br /> <p>3. Click "Install" and "Confirm" to install the application on your mobile. Open the application and click "Compose" option. <br />

My phone can't write text messages (they are converted straight to MMS and when i convert it to text it still dosen't work), nobody can receive them, i can't reply to anything (it keeps expecting me to...

Problems sending or receiving SMS may be caused by no or incorrect SMS settings. To set up your phone to use SMS, you need a message centre number, which is provided by your network operator. This is often set up automatically when inserting a new SIM card to a phone. Whiteout the message centre number, you are not able to send or receive SMS.

To edit the service centre number:

  1. Select Menu > Settings > Connectivity >Message settings.
  2. Select Text message.
  3. Highlight Service centre and select Edit.
  4. Highlight a service centre number and selectOptions > Edit > Continue.
  5. Enter the service centre number and selectSave > Yes.
  6. Highlight the service centre number and selectSelect to use the defined service centre number.

To add a service centre number provided by your network operator:

  1. Select Menu > Settings > Connectivity >Message settings.
  2. Select Text message.
  3. Highlight Service centre and select Edit.
  4. Select Add to add a new service centre number.
  5. Enter the service centre number and selectSave.
  6. Highlight the service centre number and selectSelect to use the defined service centre number.
This should help you.
any further questions feel free to ask.
Thanks.
