Question about Philips 27PT71B 27" TV
AFTER AN HOUR OR SO THE TV SHUTS OFF AND RED LIGHT FLASHES.IT WILL DO THIS SEVERAL TIMES THEN IT TURNS ON AND WORKS FINE FOR AWHILE THEN DOES IT ALL OVER AGAIN.IF I LEAVE UNPLUGGEDFOR A DAYPLUG IT IN THEN ITWORKS FINE FOR AWHILE AND GOES THROUGH THE WHOLE PROBLEM AGAIN.
If you are a electronics engineer, then check the smps +b voltage that is around 140volts for 27"t.v if is low or high then check electrolytic capacitors in the smps circuit and change the same ratings for continuid saftey, if +b voltage is ok then check the backside of E.H.T a small electrolytic cap rated 10micro 50volts for feedback replace it .
