the top rack leaves my glasses really sludgy and almost chalky and yellowish.  when you rub the glasses, they are greasy and also dusty.  my friend told me i had lime clogging top sprayer but i don't even see top sprayer.  it looks like water comes from bottom. i don't see model number but i have a quiet card, smart wash and sensor ATC.

- I checked and the water pressure is ok. The tap water does turn things orange like my dog bowls, showers and toilets. I did notice that the dishwasher inside looks like it has lime in it. If that is the case, how do I get it out?

This could be due to lime deposits from your water or very hard water. If you fill a glass from the sink is it real cloudy? Also it could be due to low pressure from being clogged or if you have galvanized pipes they may be clogging up and causing low water pressure which is not rinsing off the dishes with enough water. To test the water pressure in your house turn one sink on and then turn the other one on. If there is a large drop in pressure this means your pipes may be starting to clog up. If you found this solution helpful please rate it.

- What I would recommend is if there are extremely heavy deposits I would try and clean them with a mild detergent and very warm water. After you do this I would run a full cycle with the dishwasher empty of any dishes along with the the detergent dispenser full of dishwasher detergent. Make sure the cycle has the sanitizer option enabled. There are multiple names for this but it basically enables the heating element which makes the water extremely hot. This should help loosen any debris. Do you have galvanized pipes? It is very common for them to clog up with rust over time. It is even more common on the hot water pipes which are what lead to your dishwasher. If you have extremely hard water I would recommend installing a mild water softener or filter inline of your main water supply pipe comming into your house. If you are uncomfortable doing this I would recommend having a plumber install this. It is a fairly easy job and they can usually be installed within an hour. Once this is installed this should help reduce the hard water deposits in your dishwasher. However if you do have galvanized pipes I would have a plumber check the hot water pipe comming into your dishwasher as it may be clogged with rust. If this is the case I would recommend having him replace this section with new pipe. The 2 main issues are hard water and low water pressure. Once those are eliminated you should have clean dishes with no deposits. Good luck and keep me posted.
