Loud spin cycle

Model WJSR2080T5WW. The washer works fine, no leaks, but the spin cycle is very loud. Not an unbalanced load. Maybe a bearing or something?

There is a good chance that the hub nut came loose and now the split ring is destroyed, maybe along with the hub that it sits on..

To inspect these parts, the agitator must be pulled sharply and abruptly off the agitator coupler. There are no mechanical fasteners that attach the agitator to the coupler, it snaps on. A strong strap under the agitator and a quick, swift pull will remove the agitator.( Don't hit your face, it hurts)

Removing the coupler, then the basket should reveal the source of the noise.

I'm getting a "UL" (Unbalanced Load) code all the time, it is level and always happens with 11 minutes left in the cycle. What is the problem? Is the tub bearings out? Why is grease leaking?

This definitely sounds like a new bearing is required. It is not unusual to see grease leaking of the bearing has been damaged or is worn out. If it is banging, making loud noises or shaking the machine violently then the bearing is usually the problem

Maytag Neptune front load washer model MAH3000AW, load during spin cycle

YOU MEAN LOUD DURING SPIN CYCLE? IF THAT SO, WHAT KIND OF NOISE? BANGING NOISE MEANS YOU HAVE UNBALANCED LOAD OR ONE OF THE SUSPENSION IS BAD OR FELL OFF. GRINDING NOISE MEANS YOU HAVE A BAD TUB BEARING, TO REPLACE THAT, YOU HAVE TO REPLACE THE WHOLE REAR TUB ASSEMBLY, VERY COSTLY. MEANS YOU PROBABLY BE BUYING A NEW WASHER.

My machine will not run the spin cycles, and makes a very loud noise during the spin cycles, sounds like a bad motor or bearing?

I'm not a repair professional. I am just a 78 year man who has done his own washer repair for about 50 years. You might have a bad lid switch that keeps the washer from spinning. You might have an unbalanced load in the machine which makes the noise. The unbalanced load might also be the cause of not spinning.

Noise in the spin mode on a Amana LWA50AW top load washer

Based on your description, it sounds as if your outer spin bearing is faulty. See link below for an illustration of the bearing. Special tools are required to replace this item.

Rattling noise during spin cycle

Most noises from a washing machine occur during the spin cycle. If you hear loud thumping during the spin, the load of clothes may have become unbalanced. Stop the washer and redistribute the clothes, then re-start it. Repeat these steps if necessary.

Excessive wobble

If there's a loud thumping noise during the spin cycle, the load of clothes has probably gotten unbalanced. Open the lid, redistribute the clothes in the washer, then re-start it. Repeat these steps if necessary.

Loud noise on spin cycle

How did that answer get an 83% rating? It is absolutely useless. My washer has the exact same problem as described above.During the spin cycle it sounds like a jet engine. It kinda sounds like the belt hitting the drive wheel but may be bearings in the motor.
