See if you have the sleep timer turned on, on the device. If not, it may be going into a protection mode to further protect the system

    Using This Guide

Throughout this guide, you will see instructions such as “Select XM Settings Setup

Antenna Aiming.” This tells you to perform the following actions:

    1. Press the XM button.

    2. You will see a menu whose last option is “Settings.” Press the down arrow button several times to highlight “Settings,” then press the XM button to select it.

    3. You will see another menu whose third option is “Setup.” Again, press the down arrow button to highlight “Setup,” and press the XM button to select it.

    4. You will see another menu; one of the options is “Antenna Aiming.” Press the down arrow button to highlight “Antenna Aiming,” and the XM button to select it.

Not all of the menu items described in this guide may appear on your inno display. For example, if you have not created any playlists, you will not see “Playlists” if you press the XM button while listening to “My Music.”

My Pioneer Inno wont stay powered up.

Your battery could be at end of life depending on how long you have had it. I know pioneer are pretty good with warranties so if you have had it for 12 months or less contact pioneer and ask them if its viable for a warranty replacement. Or even take it back to the place you bought it from. You may be able to take it to an electronics store to test your battery charge capacity as well.

How to connect my iPod to a Pioneer PDR-609

The Pioneer PDR-609 is a personal CD recorder used in conjunction with the rest of your home audio system. The equipment has a few audio inputs, however, so you can connect external devices to play through the Pioneer PDR-609, including an Apple iPod. You need a special adapter cable, but once connected, the sound from your iPod through the speaker Pioneer system.

1. Connect the end of the cable 3.5 mm headphone of your Apple iPod.

2. Insert the red and white RCA cable ends into the "Line In" port on the back of the Pioneer PDR-609.

3. Power on the iPod and the Pioneer equipment. Select "Line In" as the display option in the Pioneer, then the song you want to listen to your iPod and press select "Play". The music now plays through the speaker system of the Pioneer system.
Bought a pioneer xmp3 player and cant get it to come on, When I try charging the battery the unit gets hot but still doesnt come on any ideas as to the problem ?

Just off the phone with Pioneer customer service. Apparently a "software glitch" common enough that an internal memo has gone out to replace units under warranty without further trouble shooting. The last step in the process was to remove the battery, place in the original charging cradle without the battery, and hold the power switch down for 10-15 seconds; if the "Please Wait" message continues, the unit is defective.

It died

The same thing happened to me and i had no idea what to do. I tried e-mailing the creative headquarters but they wouldnt give me any advice. Finally i realized that there is a reset button on the botom of the player that i never noticed before. If you hold in the play/pause button, hit the reset button, and then release then play/pause button it should take you to a screen where it gives you options on what to do with your player. What i did was reboot it and nothing happened. Whatever you do, DO NOT hit format, or else you will lose all of your picture and music files. I got really frustrated with this problem so glad i could help out.
