Question about Heating & Cooling
The blower operates on air temperature. To make these units as energy efficient as possible the thermo disk that turns the blower on is calibrated (Non-adjustable) to turn the blower on a a certain temperature. Just a pilot light is enough to bring the blower on in 106+°F. You could completely shut down this system in hot weather and save gas from the pilot and electrical from the blower.
