I have 3 displays with an ethernet hub. Software upgraded to version 3.01.05 as supplied with the Furuno BBWX1 Weather Receiver. There is no Weather Icon as shown in the installation manual. I have tried everything I can think of. Yes; I did follow the instructions exactly. Yes; every display was upgraded. None of the 3 displays shows the correct hot page icon.
Ethernet hub is functional with green lights. All other systems work just fine. The light is flashing green on the BBWX1 also.

Re: No Sirius Weather Hot Page ICON
You will need to add the hotpage. do it like you're customizing your hotpages. Now if you're using Navionics then you will need to convert your unit to C-map. I know of a company in MD that can do this for you. The conversion process will remove your radar heading alignment and tuning setting though. Try www.mid-shore-electronics.com. They will be able to help you. They help me out alot.

n the system setup, under “UNITS” I set
BEARING to “MAG” (magnetic). This will cause the unit to display course /
bearing information in relation to the Magnetic North and match magnetic
compass readings. It is not the same as True North! One has to be careful with
this setting. There are a number of areas where the earth's magnetic field is
locally disturbed, sometimes very significantly. Your GPS may not account for
it.-again, under “UNITS” I set “METRIC”.
1. Download the SONYNAVU_U73T_3.2.CN.BIN file to a temporary or download
directory. 2. Connect your nav-u personal navigation device to the
computer using the supplied USB cable. 3. Power on your nav-u
personal navigation device and wait until the "Connect to PC" message is
displayed on the nav-u screen. 4. Start the nav-u Tool software on
the computer. 5. At the "nav-u tool" window, click "Upgrade System". 6.
On the right side of the Upgrade Screen, verify that the target version
is 3.00. 7. On the left side of the Upgrade Screen, click the
"Browse" button, and go to the directory where the
SONYNAVU_U73T_3.2.CN.BIN file was downloaded and then click "OK". 8.
In the "Name" box, click to select "3.02 cn NV-U73T" update, and then
click the button. 9. After the update file is transferred to the
nav-u device a "Transferring Upgrade file completed." message is
displayed on the computer. 10. After the system software update is
complete, the nav-u device will automatically shut down and restart.
If it has a round radar plug in the back then the answer is yes and it already has radar support. However to upgrade your unit to the latest software you will need a dealer for that. It's a very tricky process and if not done properly, you can ruin the bootloader programming that starts the unit. I know of a dealer that does this if you want to check in with them. You can even send them the unit. Try www.mid-shore-electronics.com.
