Hi is your Nokia 6070 mobile is displaying Sim not valid message when you insert your sim card then it mean your phone is locked to some other network due to this when you insert other network sim it will display messages like "Sim not valid" ,"sim unlock code " ,"NCK code " and so on ...To fix this you have to unlock your phone from that network provider ..You can easily unlock your phone using sites like MobileUnlockSolutions.com here they are rendering unlock code for all mobile models at reliable cost ...After unlocking your phone you can freely use it with any GSM sim ...
If your mobile phone is on a contract with a service provider, most of the times it will be locked in with them for the duration of the contract, So if you try to insert a sim card from a different service provider, it may say "sim card not valid' Try to insert your original sim card and see if that works.
Otherwise if this IS your original sim card and all of a sudden this message "sim card not valid" has appeared, then the sim card has gone faulty and you need to get a new sim card from your service provider eg... Vodafone.
do as it says you need a valid SIM to restore an iphone and it is possible to have a SIM go bad. There is nothing that can be done until your sim is infact working and valid and it MUST be an AT&T sim no other sim will work for restore.
Is your sim card in the phone? Make sure it is inserted in there correctly and if it is and it still gives you that message the phone has a bad Sim card reader and although your sim is in the phone it is not reading it.
i had the same problem when i try to use a diferent company phone with a sim card, you know like trying to use at&t on a verizon, or either brand, but you shoul be hable to dial 611 from the phone and ask for tech suport they will give you an advise, or have the phone taken to a store where you have the service with and they need to unlock it, in order to work with your company,
i hope and i been help full i apreciate your feedback
i think the sim validity period has been expired ... i mean if you didnt recharge for 90 days the sim validity will be getting expired automatically... this is made by the network operator in standard for all sim cards .... if it is not true then try inserting in other handset & have a try ... if you face same problem then really the sim validity has been expired ... take a new sim....
