To open you phone line you can try online at www.mobile2mobile.net or www.unlockitnow.com or take the phone to a mobile service center and have them unlock it for a fee.

P.S. remember that unlocking a phone is not a free service

Or you should contact your mobile service provider for further assistance

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Hello my nokia 5230 has a problemes when i put in the sim card i get sim card not valid could you help me please

Hi I'm a mobile phone Tech.

If your mobile phone is on a contract with a service provider, most of the times it will be locked in with them for the duration of the contract,
So if you try to insert a sim card from a different service provider, it may say "sim card not valid'
Try to insert your original sim card and see if that works.

Otherwise if this IS your original sim card and all of a sudden this message "sim card not valid" has appeared, then the sim card has gone faulty and you need to get a new sim card from your service provider eg... Vodafone.

Hope this is helpful

Tried to restore my iphone 3G OS 3.1.2 in the itunes. after the restoration process was complete the following message appeared " the SIM card inserted in this iphone does not appear to be supported" "only...

do as it says you need a valid SIM to restore an iphone and it is possible to have a SIM go bad. There is nothing that can be done until your sim is infact working and valid and it MUST be an AT&T sim no other sim will work for restore.

Insert sim

Is your sim card in the phone? Make sure it is inserted in there correctly and if it is and it still gives you that message the phone has a bad Sim card reader and although your sim is in the phone it is not reading it.

Vodafone sim problem.

i think the sim validity period has been expired ...
i mean if you didnt recharge for 90 days the sim validity will be getting expired automatically... this is made by the network operator in standard for all sim cards ....
if it is not true then try inserting in other handset & have a try ...
if you face same problem then really the sim validity has been expired ...
take a new sim....
