Very possible your compressor is where the short is.

Do these ranges have a fuse? Kenmore range 91195291992

The first item to check is the circuit breaker or fuse box. It sounds like you shorted one of the hot wires to ground and that will trip a circuit breaker or blow a fuse. Next, with the range unplugged, remove the back panel and inspect wires going to bake element. You should see a black mark where it shorted. Repair connection if needed. Replace panel and plug back in. Reset circuit breaker or replace fuse and see if unit works. If not, the loud pop could be the control. Good luck!

Pops electric panal breaker

Hello friend, thank you for your post!

A dehumidifier is similar to having another refrigerator plugged in. It is recommended that it be plugged into a circuit of its own. If you are talking about the house fuse or circuit breaker it could be the circuit has to many products plug into the that house circuit. I would suggest moving it to another area of the house to see if it also blows that fuse. Hopefully this is helpful. -Matt

My washer keeps popping new circuit

You havent given details when the breaker pops. Is it right away, in wash cycle, spin cycle or drain? If it pops right away, there has to be a short circuit, but it fills water up then as soon as the motor starts n it pops, it could be motor. If blows during spin, definately motor drawing too much current. Then it could be the breaker that is weak/faulty. The breaker if not faulty it will pop if the current drawn by the motor exceeds it's rating or there is a short.

Our Ruud ac won't come on after a storm and power outage? I have flipped the breaker with no luck. Any suggestions?

there is a fuse on the circuit board on the inside unit. Typically a power surge will pop it. checking that fuse is the best place to start

2006 street glide radio fuses keep popping

Hi Jamie, you have a hard/dead short that should be easy to find generally they are the easiest. Time to get out your test light and connect it to the power side of the, circuit breaker or the blown fuse receiver, start by tracking the out bound wire towards the ignition switch and beyond if necessary, when the test light quits lighting you are very close to your short. The circuit breaker on the unit pops almost every time I use the unit, what might be causing this?

Hi, when the breaker trips every time you turn it on, the unit has a dead short. It may have a frayed wire where it goes into the units motor, or the motor it self may be shorted out.A bare hot wire that touches metal will pop the breaker right away. I would look the cord over very well to see if anything may be bare. If not, the problem is further into the motor section of the unit, and more then likely the motor has failed. This is why the breaker is there for this reason. In case it overloads or you have a short, it trips to keep the unit from burning. Please keep me posted.

As i turn on microwave it blows the fuse. what could be the reason.

try using it at a different location in the house(different circuit) if it also blows that fuse, there must be a short in the unit. do not use. if it works means line in the kitchen is overload, and you need a higher fuse rating or breaker.

Loud pop

You probably have a blown fuse (15A or 20A ceramic type) which may be caused by a blown part in the high voltage section. These are widely available at local stores. You can find exploded views and parts by entering your full model number here: If the new fuse blows immediately when you hit the START button, you also have a shorted high voltage capacitor.
