Very possible your compressor is where the short is.

Trips breaker

tripping breaker indicates over load or dead short
it could be from failed start /run capacitors on the compressor unit ( (most likely)or from vermin across the power board
I suggest that you have a technician inspect and quote on repairs

My duo therm 13.5 btu rv air conditioner started making a popping sound and dimming the lights like it's trying to cycle to shut off. Well then it started triping the circuit breaker so I changed out the 2...

The best guess is that you have a bad thermostat. When the compressor shuts off it has to stay off for a long enough period of time for the low pressure high pressure to equalize. If it turns the compressor off and back on immediately it can't start against the heavy load created by these unequal pressures. If it will start every time after sitting for 10 minutes the thermostat is making it short cycle.

FURNACE WON'T TURN ON: I have a 1999 Fleetwood, Prowler RV. The furnace won't turn on.

Check the exhaust port of the furnace. Wasps like to build nests in there and it will not allow the furnace to ignite if blocked. You have a gas detector and it is turned on I assume? I forgot this many times.

Hi,I have a travel trailer 37ft. Problem with my ac, the fan starts good but my compressor does not kick on. My next door neighbour says it's the compressor that is done. Could you help me?

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
Motor Trouble Cause Diagnostic Procedure Repair Procedure Electrical Power is Off Check that all service switches for the equipment are in the "on" position.
Check for voltage at the pump motor or pump controls. If no voltage is found, check for voltage at the electric panel.
If power is on to the building, check fuse or circuit breaker serving the electric motor that won't run.
Check for local reset button on the motor (popped out = off )
Check for other power reset or power off buttons such as an access door compartment safety switch that turns off power to the equipment (found on A/C blower compartment doors)
Turn on "off" switches.
Replace bad fuse. Reset circuit breaker; if necessary replace bad circuit breaker.
Let hot electric motor cool down, then push in its reset button.
Be sure all safety interlock switches such as on compartment doors are depressed and that the doors are securely shut. Replace a bad safety switch.

If the motor has burned out in either of these ways it needs to be replaced.

Our Ruud ac won't come on after a storm and power outage? I have flipped the breaker with no luck. Any suggestions?

there is a fuse on the circuit board on the inside unit. Typically a power surge will pop it. checking that fuse is the best place to start

Blower not working after breaker switch popped

This unit will need inspecting before using again . If it blew the breaker and now the blower won't run, then most likely you have a dead short in the motor and it has burnt out or a wire has come loose and caused a short. If you continue to try and use this you can run the chance of a fire or electic shock or worse. While it is unplugged you can remove the covers and inspect the motor for any burnt smell or burnt wiring and such. Some unit may have a fuse inside but most do not. If I can help you once you inspect the motor please get back to me and if this helpful a vote on the thumbs up is appreciated.
Thanks

My furnace will not turn on it is a intertherm feh 015ha. Every time I turn on the breaker the fuse pops really loud in the furnace and turns it off again. How can I figure out what is wrong if I cant even...

I would suspect your evaporative motor (located in the furnace) is shorted.
To prove it - just disconnect the electrical wires to the motor and turn the breaker back on.
Most likely the breaker will stay on - which will tell you for sure that the motor is shorted.
Note: it's possible that the capacitor on your motor is shorted - but I doubt it. i would bet on the motor. In any event - you have a 'direct short' which is causing your breaker to pop, and I would bet it's the motor.
If it isn't the motor you will just need to find the 'short' to keep the breaker from popping.

Hitachi RAS09UH randomly pops 15A circuit breaker

Two things that you could check: 1) If you have access to an ampmeter, determine if the unit is drawing over over 14 or 15 amps, 2) replace the suspect circuit breaker in case it is beginning to go bad. Breakers only trip for overcurrent conditions or failure of the breaker itself. If it is pulling close to 15 amps, then it could heat up over time and trip.

Neither fan or compressor will com on

You have a short circuit in the system at some point. A blown fuse on the circuit board indicates a short in the control circuit. Tripping of the breaker indicated a high voltage draw from the compressor. Check the compressor motor terminals with the wires removed and the power off. Use an Ohm meter from a terminal to ground. You should have no reading. If you have any reading the compressor motor is shorted out and the compressor is done.
