Question about Epson Stylus CX9400 Photo Printer
I've had my CX9400 for maybe 6 months. yesterday it came up with a statement:
"A printer error has occurred. Turn off the printer, then press On button to turn on. See your documentation."
I can't find the manual that came with this unit. Each time I tunr it off... then turn it back on, I get the same error message and no other buttons do anything.
When you open your cover and see the cartdredes lift them up and place them in the center while holding down the piece of metal with the bar code on it it gets cauth up there all the time that is what it is hitting when you turn it on and it makes a metalic sounding thud.

If you already have turn off and turn on the printer and error doesn't clear up, try turning it off and check for any obstructions that may be blocking the inks from moving then turn it on. If the issue persists, your printer already has a hardware issue particularly the printer part of your product. I suggest that you contact Epson for a replacement printer if it is within the 1-year warranty period from the date of purchase.
