Try testing the capacitor (there may be 2 ) If the start windings can't kick out it will blow the breaker.

I have a coleman super mach a/c thinking of buying a 2 kva gennie **** need to know if it will run a/c 7000 .we dont know the watts on the a/c

Best to call or e-mail Coleman and ask. You need to have a 15% power cushion available for the A/C when the compressor comes on as it creates a slight power surge. Have the Genie power supply specs handy.

My colman rooftop ac unit shuts off after 5 min of use wait 5 more and you can turn it back on again when its running it works great its on a 1984 holiday rambler and has very low hours?

Try a new fan motor. It runs about $125.00, It will run a few min. then will trip the motor themal switch. you can probably still here the compressor running. It may also trip the breaker on shore power . good luck! the part you are looking for is a 1/3 hp 115vac 2 speed 1580/1020 rpm part number #1468-3069

Connection to difusser too short.

We used to buy a roll of 25ft, or so, at the dealer I worked for in the past, for just such an installation, of the vinyl that is connected between upper & lower units. Attach it to top as other piece is with band clamp, let it drop down through the hole, peel tape off, stick to lower and trim it off. Worked great. Dealer you bought unit from may have some. Other set-ups I've run into lately are ducting made out of 4 pieces cut to proper length 1" insulation & taped together at corners, and before that was just heavy cardboard, bent in proper shape like opening, then, vinyl taped to inside of cardboard. It all worked, but personally I'd prefer the vinyl, at proper length.

I don't think you need a new one just a good cleaning and service. The unit has a liquid high temperature line near the compressor with a fan blowing outside air across it this coil gets clogged over time with air-borne dirt and pollen and leaves and such and must be cleaned regularly or the unit will be unable to remove the heat from the coil and during the peak demand (3pm) the circuits that protect the compressor and the trailer wiring from being overloaded and burning or melting will trip. From what you have described it sounds like the RV is working as it should with a condenser coil that needs to be cleaned. GL and happy camping!
P.S. I've only serviced the occasional RV unit but in those cases I laid a piece of plywood on top of the Rv for work platform removed the retaining screws from the top cover and used a spray bottle with a good heavy foaming cleaner a shop-vac and a brush to get the job done.

the fan motor bearings need lub....the shaft has a tiny access hole to put some oil into. because the fan shaft is slowing down, it is putting more strain on the voltage current, and eventually the internal breaker shuts down the your condenser is not getting enough air accross it, compressor heats up, and it too will shut the unit down......older units have to be oiled every year, and eventually it too will fail, and a new blower motor assembly is needed or replace the ac unit.....blower motor units are around $ you install it or pay to have it done at around another $150 labor,,,,,try yourself, if it fails then call the tech........let me know
