Needed to Update My BIOS, went to eMachines (No Help), they sent Me to Trigem, HaHa...Went to Phoenix, they referred me to eSupport.com..They Had an Upgrade for My BIOS, I purchased it, and attempted to Install Per Their Directions (Boot-Up from a Floppy)...Got a Phlash Error that said I needed to Run the "Crisis Diskette"(??? Not on This Computer anywhere), went to eMachines again (still No Help since they don't Support Bios Flash)...eSupport said to Replace the Battery, and then Reset CMOS...Went to a Shop that did That, and still get the Same Error...What can I do Now?? I paid for That Upgrade (eSupport doesn't seem to want to give me a Refund, imagine that)
Have the Older Trigem MoBo with the 815 Chipset, Phoenix BIOS, running XP/SP3, 512MB RAM, Pentium 3 900Mhz...

Try going to http://www.support.dell.com click drivers and downloads and then choose the model of your computer there you will see the updated version of the BIOS.
When I went there I saw that A15 is still the version available.
Hope this helps!
According to my troubleshooting manual of Acer Aspire 4520-Z3 about
BIOS Flash Utility:
The BIOS flash memory update is required for the following conditions: New versions of system programs New features or options Restore a BIOS when it becomes corrupted.
Use the Phlash utility to update the system BIOS flash ROM. NOTE: If you do not have a crisis recovery diskette at hand, then you should create a Crisis Recovery Diskette before you use the Phlash utility. Do not install memory-related drivers (XMS, EMS, DPMI) when you use the Phlash. Please use the AC adaptor power supply when you run the Phlash utility. If the battery pack does not contain enough power to finish BIOS flash, you may not boot the system because the BIOS is not completely loaded.
Follow the steps below to run the Phlash. 1. Prepare a bootable diskette. 2. Copy the flash utilities to the bootable diskette. 3. Then boot the system from the bootable diskette.
The flash utility has auto-execution function. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You need to prepare a bootable Flashdisk into dos mode then you should search for the above mentioned crisis recovery diskett and transfer its content to the flashdisk.
I read from another forum that for recovery of Aspire 4520 problem can be done through pressing of the keys combination as follows: press FN + ESC and hold them, then just hit the power on button and release it, after awhile "the power button" should blink red, release the keys FN+ESC and don't touch anything.
After successful of recover the bios it should restart normally. That happen after 20-30 minutes. If it doesn't restart just repeat the process.
