Speakers Hi! We have 7 speakers connected in the system. They are working fine independently but not when they are all connected. Do you think that is the problem? What should I do? Thanks, Cecilia

    Hello there !

    I have a similar problem i guess :

I just can't get the 6 speakers with the Subwoofer all together. The PLII MOV gives me all of them except the Surround Back (only Surround Back, the Left and Right are fine) and the NEO6 CIN gives me all of them except the Subwoofer. So my problem is that i can't have the Subwoofer AND the Surround Back together with the rest, so like a whole 6.1 system. Is it just like that or Is there an option for all of them ? Or a option for a manual choice of the speakers ?

    Thanks for helping.

If I understand you right, you have 7 speakers on 7 different channels.
When you have just 1 speaker connected it sounds fine, but any time you add more speakers it shuts down, or does it sound fine until you have all 7 of the speakers connected.

Bare with me, and we will figure this out. It is a very diificult job trying to troubleshoot something that is not in front of you.

After this post, it will be about an hour or so before you will hear from me again, I will be on my way home from work.

Is this a 5.1 surround system or is it listed as 7.1?

Do have have any speaker outputs with more than 1 speaker connected to it.

If this is a 5.1 system, do you have speakers connected to the "A and "B" speaker jacks?

What kind of speakers are they, and do they say on the back where you connect the speaker wire what ohm rating they are. Most speakers for your home are 8 ohms.

in case you were wondering what a 5.1 and a 7.1 system is:

the 5.1 system has front right, front left, center, rear right, rear left and the .1 is for the sub-woofer that is normally a RCA jack output on the back of the receiver

The 7.1 has all those same speaker outputs plus it has a surround back with right and left channel.

I will get back to you in about an hour or so.

My speakers are not working. The green light is showing and the green plug is in the green socket

Hi, the speakers are fine it's the motherboard socket for the speakers that's got the problem. You could buy a sound card for one of your pc board slots that would give you your sound back.

I can hear the sound in headphone but built in speaker are not working. what to do

Hi, Check the following,
  • Speakers, connecting cables and Sound Card are working fine by connecting to another computer.
  • OR
  • If the connection ok increase your volume and open the cable from the pc.
Now you will touch the stereo jack, can you can listen a sound when touch the jack. If you will not get any sound, think there is the problem in your amplifier or audio system has not any voltage. To confirm the voltage check by multi miter or can go any local Technician .If the voltage is ok, think your sound system defected and should go to Technician.

  • If your sound system is ok
  • Speaker Cable connect to an audio port (Audio/Video port in system box).
Hope this helps ,

Front left speaker stopped working. I use the system with my computer (full volume on computer), and usually half volume on the speaker. I've had the speaker for a few months now. I looked the wiring to...

You 'looked' at the wiring but have proven it is defective by swapping the speaker independent of the wiring. What's next? Replace the bad wiring.

What happens when you put a working speaker and wire on the front left output?

My altect lansing bxr1121 speakers stopped working suddenly. I have checked all the connection but the power led is off.

Hi. i think it is the internal connections or jacks need to be resoldered, but first try to check the continuity of each wires. tact switch cleaning and replacement is another approach.

No sound out of woofer

Hello sparkie102
Happy Holidays
you have to check if all the cables are well connected, and in the right inputs. 2) check your software for sound that is enable, fine.
turn up the sub volume , if got it independent.
other that this, is a failure sub. if got warranty, use it! or RMS your sub.

Speaker connections

Not usually. They are generally parallelled inside. But if it's the jack itself and not the amp channel thats broken, you should be able to use it successfully.
