Radio Bought 1996 maxima new with $900 Bose sound system.When it only had 67K miles the system stopped working. Took it to Sound on Wheels and they said to disconnect cable to battery for a few seconds and that would reset it. Did for a while but was stripping end of cable so I got a Clarion stereo and it;s been working for 3 years but now it , the clock and the antennae stopped working at the same time as it had done with the Bose. What's going on ?
just got 96 maxima with bose system; leaving work it just stopped completly. I ve had the fuses checked and they were good all LEDs work on th epanel around the radio. each speaker in your car runs the wiring thru an amp. So each spkear has its own amp for the bose system. You can not hook up a none bose radio If you do you will need to run new wires and replace all the speakers. Sorry.
