Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3m Cellular Phone
My phone sometimes displayes an "invalid battery" message--what the heck does that mean as there's nothing in the owner's manual about this code? I cannot charge the battery when this message is displayed. 9 out of 10 times, shutting the phone off and turning it back on clears the message. Today I had to R&R the battery to clear the code.
My Motorola v325 was having the "invalid battery" message. We took it to Batteries Plus, where we'd bought the battery last year. They said that it happens when there's a blown circuit board in the battery (apparently all Lithium Ion batteries have a circuit board). They actually swapped our old battery for a new one at no charge and it works fine again.

I dont know much about cell phones, but im gonna say that maybe you should try and get a new battery for it and see if that works

Go to tech support at your carrier it is a problem with certain serial numbers with the battery. If you go to verizon they will replace it with a new one because its a recall on the battery. I have both the V3M and the V325 and they both had the same problem and they said it was due to the recall on them
