  1. Before replacing the switch check the lid hinge screws on the left side, if they come loose the switch will not activate.
  2. As part of the lid hinge, there is a rod under the cabinet on the left side that can be bent upward by holding the lid open and pushing on the rod.
  3. To replace the switch, insert a putty knife under each corner, push to release a latch. With console lifted, the switch is snapped into the cabinet on the left side.

Bosch Maxx 1000 front loader trips safety switch

You have a circuit that is overloading and causing the safety switch to trip. It could be a problem in your wiring harness, thermostat, control/selection dial, anywhere. Where ever it is you need to have a qualified maintenance person who is trained in that particular machines wiring to check it out. By it kicking your safety switch out it is telling you that there is an Electrical overload some where in your wiring or it's components. Without the safety switch a fire is very possible. I am not an expert or even familiar with your machine but years as an Instrument Technician I know instruments are placed in devices to inform, regulate and protect you and your equipment. I would check for a shorted out Electrical switch, these switches are a type of solid state switch. They will be mounted in different places in the circuits and are round with two wires attached to them with blade type connectors. Here again you need a serviceman who is familiar with the particular wiring harness. Try going to the Mfg's web site for help. Some have a free Q&A section with a live chat box. This is not intended to solve your problem but to help guide you in the proper direction to get a solution.

The air pressure line fills with water sometimes and causes the washer to overfill and the water just continues to run all over the floor

Remove the line from the switch and blow it out. Make sure that tubing is going down the little channel with the wiring harness so it wont get pinched. Re connect the tube tight to the water level switch and pump out the water before retry. I have repair photos HERE

Washer won't agitate

I saw this happen once and you know what it was? A loose connection!. I pushed in the timer's molex block and it worked! It musta vibrated out the socket somehow. You must flip up the console to access the controls.
