Re: I want to find a installation CD for my HP Deskjet...
Hi,
The cd comes with the printer when you have purchased it.
But if you don't have that cd in that case you can download from HERE.
You need to select the operating system and then you can download it.

Download the software and install it before connecting the USB cable to the computer. If you connected the data cable first, remove the generic OS driver and then disconnect the USB cable before installing.
click here Click on above link and click on your operating system then download driver and install. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using FixYa.
Go to control panel/programs and features and uninstall the HP driver and all associated software.
Reboot, then reinstall the LATEST version written SPECIFICALLY for VISTA SP2. Install the driver BEFORE you connect the printer. After you install the driver if your computer still doesn't recognize the printer, leave it connected and reboot.
You should see the 'found new hardware' wizard open and automatically install the printer.
I recommend uninstalling all HP components from your add/remove section in the Control Panel - restart computer - and then reinstall from the original disk sent from the manufacturer. Do you still have the disk?
