Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

We have purchased "Let's Ride Silver Buckle Stables" and installed it. The play screen has a pop up that says" Input Signal out of range", which is on every screen, so you cannot see the play screen although you can still play. Please advise what to do. Thank you

1. If there is an options program that you can run for the game, set the video resolution to something your monitor can handle.

2. Since few programs have that option, you may right click on the icon, select properties, and select compatability mode. Force the resolution to 640 x 480 and see if that helps.

You are getting this error because your monitor cannot handle the resolution that the program is requesting and it's out of range of what the monitor can handle.

How do I make my iPod Touch Connect to an Unsecure Network

Unsecured wireless Internet networks are available in many cafes and public spaces. An unsecured network is a wireless Internet connection that does not require a password. Use your iPod Touch Wi-Fi capability to connect to these networks and the Internet. Although excellent for surfing and email, avoid carrying out banking or financial information into an unsecured network, because there is a possibility that the signal is intercepted.

1. Open the Settings menu of your iPod Touch. It is the gray gear icon on the home screen.

2. Tap "WiFi" and move it to "On" if needed. If your Wi-Fi is already activated, you will see a pop-up asking if you have the unsecured network. Some companies, like Starbucks, have a "Log In" screen appears automatically.

3. Click "Yes" or "Join" for the network to automatically connect when prompted. The text may vary depending on the company, and you may need to read and agree to the terms and conditions statement. If no login screen appears, wait until you play for scanning available Wi-Fi signals. The list is displayed.

4. Select the network name you want to join the list. An unsecured network has a password, so you will not be asked to give.

5. Click on "automatic network in the future" when asked if you want to do.

6. Wait until the light of the Wi-Fi indicator in the upper left corner of the touch. This indicates that you are online and ready to ride.
Hi there, I'm trying to play a VSH/DVD through my

This happens when the computer signal is being used as the input, and the signal disappears or is the wrong type.
It may have tried switching inputs if you were using the video input rather than the pc input.

Press the auto image button to get it to select the correct input.

If you are using the PC as the dvd player, then change the display settings ie computer screen refresh rate, and resolution to suit the projector

I have 21 GOODMANS LD2212 TVs and want to play an MP3 player through the "audio in" however it shows no AV signal (yes I have selected AV or SCART source) likewise if I use a scart and connect...

From your description, it seems like the set doesn't activate the AV input unless it sees a video signal. I don't know if it the input is smart enough to require a valid composite signal (that is, one from a source that includes proper synchronizing signals) or if it will work as long as something is there. So here's a suggestion. Get an RCA Y-adapter with one jack in and two plugs out, and split one of the audio outputs from the MP3 player. Feed the audio to the audio input as normal, and connect the other plug to the video input. This may enable the AV input since there will then be some signal at the video input. It won't be a valid video signal, of course, so if it works you'll just see random flashing on the screen. Maybe you can pretend it's a light show to accompany the music.

Seat belt buckle receiver will not accept buckle. The latching mechanism is stuck open and doesn't recede so the buckle (male) can't insert properly

If it's not a coin, look inside the buckle again, compare it with a properly working latch. If you see something inside the broken latch that looks like it may be protruding out from the back, try pushing it back with a flathead or key, then pop the push button back up with the same tool you used... I have to do this each time I get out of my truck because the spring is broken. It still should work fine, it's just missing a spring that reset the latch to it's resting position. If you're still skeptical about it though, it's like a 25 dollar fix with installation.

Green box keeps popping up in upper right corner

You should be watching your dvd's on an input and not on tv analog 3. Every time the tv "senses" a signal change in the audio that screen will pop up. Connect the DVD player to the tv by using either the red, white and yellow (composite) connections or using the green, blue, red, white and red (component). Once you are on an actual input that box will stop popping up.
