Question about HP OfficeJet 6110 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Out of the blue, my HP 6319 all-in-one has a problem with copying. The machine is very sluggish in copying an image, then spits out a blank sheet of paper. My error message says to replace the left cartridge (the color cartridge) which is brand new. After inserting the new cartridge, I was able to copy documents for several times successfully when suddenly, I wasn't. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? It doesn't matter whether I feed the machine from the top or use the glass, it's not copying either way. Is this something I can solve on my own, or do I need professional help?

the only thing that can be done is to go to your printers and faxes folder and looking for your HP printer icon, right click on it and select uninstal, switch off and remove printer from the usb port Next go to add/remove programmes and look for any HP printer software listing and uninstall it and restart the pc. If you have the installation cd that came with the printer reinstall the driver and when prompted reconnect the printer to a usb port preferebly a different one than before if you have spare and continue. reset the HP printer to the default printer if not already been prompted to do so by the software and try again printing, if the result is the same the printer itself is faulty and requires servicing or replacing

I had the same problem. When I inspected the printer inside I detected that on the right sight of the metal thing that's guide te cartridge holder some plactic piece had broken.
When I glued it, everything went OK for a couple of minutes. Because of the presure on that plastic nock it broken again and the same error appeared on the screen.

There is a small spring that holds the ink cartridge in the ink holder. You will see it stick out from the right hand side of the ink holder where the ink cartridge slides in. If that spring isn't being held to the ink holder by two plastic tabs, (I.E. the plastic tabs are broken) the printer will never recognize the cartridge. If the printer is still under warranty I would contact HP or an authorized repair center for HP. Both the black and color ink holder has this spring. I know of no way to repair this kind of breakage.
