On 25th Oct., completed a purchase form - using my VISA debit card via PayPal - to buy something from CheatScapes.com. Received a receipt number, with the correct price indicated - but CheatScapes.com claim not to have received the order! Checking my VISA account, it appears PayPal have deducted their fee. If you sign on to your Paypal account, it is a simple procedure to add your new visa card and to then be able to make purchases with it.

Your password for Paypal may be incorrect. Click 'Forgot Password' to be sent a new one.

Otherwise, look up vendor online and contact them via email, phone or their website form.

The PayPal debit MasterCard is a quick and effective way to pay with PayPal, even if the merchant doesn't accept PayPal.

You can pay for any purchase with your PayPal debit card as long as the merchant accepts MasterCard debit cards, but sometimes you may run into problems when your debit card doesn't swipe correctly or is declined.

You can generally resolve any issues by logging onto your PayPal account and checking your balance or resolving any outstanding account problems.

Visit Paypal.com and sign in to your PayPal account.
Your "Transaction" page will appear.


Look at your "PayPal Balance" near the top of the page. If your balance is lower than what you're trying to purchase, PayPal will not permit the payment to go through.

Click on "Debit card" under "Account Tools" and click "Add backup now" to link your bank account with your debit card.

Book your airplane tickets with your checking account.

Alternately, if you have a Paypal debit card you can use that in lieu of a credit card.

Pay for your tickets with cash.
While this method doesn't work online, it does work for both travel agents and airlines.
You take the necessary amount of money in cash, purchase the tickets and the matter is resolved.

Well the solution is very simple my friend. Set your Visa Debit card as a Visa credit card and that's it.

Contact paypal and dispute the transaction, then change your password for your paypal account if the purchase was made using funds directly in your paypal account, also if the purchase was made using your credit/debit card number and not from funds in your paypal account you need to report it to the credit card company or your financial institution if it was a debit card.

1) If you have a different type of credit/debit card - often no cards are accepted by the many eBay sellers, only direct paypal payment via paypal.com website.
1) If you have PayPal Visa card then I assume it still counts as PayPal payment, even if eBay sellers don't accept credit/debit cards - you should definitely complain to paypal.com or ebay.com

Pay Pal is a safer means of making a purchase online, but you still need to have a credit card to use it. What it basically does is not pay the supplier until you have received the goods and you then allow Pay-Pal to pay it.
But you still need a credit card.
