First of all check the SD card on your PC by using an adapter for the micro SD. Once this is confirmed we can be sure that the fault is within the phone. Try and format the SD card as some malwares or corrupt unrecognised files can fault the phone memory. now make sure that the Sd card holder is contacting, if there is no result before the phone can be taken for a consensus to the service center, try with another card.
You have the option to format your memory card in the phone only under memory card section. But you can also do it via a computer, just unplug the sd card and the connect it to the computer via card reader and then format it. It will clean the card nice and easily.
Remove the memory card and check using a memory card adapter on the card reader of the laptop. If the memory works fine with a scan and shows up well on the properties the capacity of the memory. Then replace the card back into the phone using the correct direction. Some times the direction is deceiving and so it might not read. Once in position if the card is not detected, then either the slot has a fault or the motherboard interface is defective.
hello, kindly check if it is inserted properly, you will see a directive arrow on the memory card to show you how it is to be inserted,if after you have inserted it correctly and it still does not sees it,i would suggest you suspect your memory card is corrupt if their is any message displaying on your mobile phone screen, and if it does not show any message like memory card corrupted, then you will have to visit a mobile phone repair expert to help you change the memory card slot, after this your mobile phone will now read your memory card.
Most likely the phone that doesn't read it and the SD card
reader can read "SD" cards but not the "SDHC" that a 4G
card will be. All SD cards 4G and above are SDHC, and a plain SD card reader
will not read this card.
Buy an SDHC reader, and get a smaller (up to 2G) card to use
on the older phone that can't read the 4G one. Hope this helps.
Can it be read in another device if so i would say it is password protected in you card menu in the phone will be a section to enter the password.
sd cards just seem unreadable if the password has not been given and it wont prompt
ok connect the card reader & put memory & try going in safe mode ... i hope you know how to go to safe mode ... (it is pressing f8 key before the OS boots)..
if still problem persists then Use FAT format to reformat.... when you put it into a MMC Card reader. if it reads in your phone then try deleting everything in that ... & also try to check the errors in that drive when connected to pc after this try formatting ........
