When i an entering data in pen drive after that when i am removing pendrive form pc, after that i can not see any data in pen drive, please informe me early as posible

I think one of the partition has gone corrupt. Please type take a backup of your data in the pen drive and follow these instructions.

1. Open command prompt. (press windows key + R and type cmd and hit enter)
2. Type diskpart
3. type list disk
4. here you must see the number of disks attached to your computer. see which disk is appropriate. usually the smaller one (that is the pen drive) will show as disk 1 and Disk 0 will usually be your HDD. after you have identified your disk serial number
5. type select disk "disk number"
6. then type clean
7. then type create partition primary
8. then type format fs=ntfs quick
9. then type assign
10. then type exit

and close the window
your pen drive must be showing now.

NOTE: Please use the correct disk number. Never use Disk 0. in step 5

2. If you didn't remove the drive with the safe removal tool in the task bar ( lower right hand corner) the drive will lose it's ability to be mounted or seen by Windows and will not format. You will lose data.

the connector that is build into the pen may be broken, if i were you i'd send pendrive to onrack recovery company, as home-way-fixing may corrupt data on pendrive

use the mfomat utility software and fornat the pen drive it wil shorly solve u r problem 100%.............

if u still having the same problem, follow these steps:

1.Insert your pendrive. open mycomputer, note the respective drive showing pendrive.

2. Then go to run and type cmd ( or go to command prompt)

3.It will show like: C:\> or C:\Documents and Settings\UserName>

4.Type the drive name of pendrive as shown in e.g
if drive is h: then type as

c:\>h:
h:\>format h:
it will format and ask for media name, you can give the name of your pendrive.

your pen drive is formatted. Now it will show the free space as 8G.B

i hv a 32 GB kingston pendrive, it can copy any type of data but whenever i copy from pen drive into my pc or copy from my pc to pen drive, it shows multiple empty folders in the same folder n audio-video files got currupted, softwares too. and also unable to delet

Hey, the transcend pen drives usually have a small switch on the side of it, ie to turn the write protect on and off, usually a small lock symbol on it, the problem with unreadable files names etc, could be a corrupt partition, i would suggest formatting the drive as long as you aint got any important information on it,

The Pen Drive site does not contain much support data. However, if this is a USB 2.0 Pen Drive, you can find download here for driver - if you are running Windows 98/SE, or have a 2GB drive. I can't tell from your post which product you have, but this page contains links to the other products as well.

You must install a "Driver" for it to work under Win98, go to the manufacturers web site and download the driver and install.
