I think there is some problem with your cameras memory card slot.

this can be also due to the card lock status that is not getting back to the normal state.

do you lock card sometimes while using it to prevent accidental deletion??

if yes the please reply me with my name mentioned.

i shall guide you how to go ahead with that kind of problem.

thank you

Well you can clean the memory slot, the metal contact with a damp alcohol cloth or use a ear swab if it gets in the slot try to do the cleaning then it will definately work, Further questions please write in and i believe the issue will definately be resolved.

I'm very sorry to say but I have a fe of these in my workshop and I have not yet seen this error fixed without either dismantling the camera or sending it to nikon service. You have tried to usual steps of formatting, new cards etc, so it can only be an error with the camera.

Regards

Simon

Hi,
check and make sure the memory card is in all the way sometimes it looks like it is, but it's ejected a little bit so push it in all the way

Format the memory card.If you can't get the card reformatted, you might want to check the
contacts on the card and memory slot. Dirty contacts can cause it to be
misread or not even register. You could start with pointing the opening
of the card slot of the camera down, then blow into it to try to
dislodge any dirt. Most camera and electronic stores also have memory
    card/ card slot cleaners.

Says no images in folder on any sd card from another nikon camera. put playback on all but still wont show images

This is normal. Many Nikon cameras will not display images taken with another camera, even another Nikon of a different model. This is basically a safety issue: there is no guarantee that any such "foreign" pictures will be compatible with the camera.

Can I download pictures from internal memory directly to my computer for a NIkon coolpix S570 camera? The memory card I was using went bad and the camera displays "This card cannot be used"

You can connect the camera to the computer with the USB port. If there's no memory card in the camera, the computer should see the pictures in the internal memory.

Alternatively, you can get a new memory card (you're going to need one, right?) and copy the pictures from the internal memory to the card, then put the card into a card reader and transfer the pictures taht way.

SD and SDHC cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

How do i know if my pictures are saving on my card? is there anyway to view pictures objects without looking through the small opening?

The D60 won't save pictures anywhere other than the memory card. If you can playback your pictures by pressing the playback button (marked with a right-pointing triangle), then they are saved on the card.

The display on the back is for the menus, reviewing pictures already taken, and shooting information. The D60 works as SLRs have worked for half a century: you use the viewfinder to compose your picture. The LiveView feature is a recent development in digital SLRs. Nikon introduced it into their cameras with the D3 and D300. The D60 is designed as an introductory model and lacks this feature. Sorry if that wasn't the answer you wanted to see, but there it is.

After having taken card out of camera and viewed files on a card reader connected to a computer, I reinserted card in camera and any files that had been viewed on the computer no longer can be displayed on...

Sounds like you forgot to use the "safely remove hardware" function before disconnecting the card reader. Try to download the pics to your computer using the card reader again. When they're safely downloaded, format the card in your camera to get it working properly again. In the future, follow the correct procedures.

Format the card using the format the card option on your camera. There's a possibility that the formatting process made by the computer is not recognized/supported by your camera

Picture display is slow

Some thoughts...make sure the battery is fully charged...set the quality of the pictures to a lower level...make sure the card is not overly full of previous pictures...use a faster card.

Camera does not show taken ( saved) pictures

problem is in memory card...i think. try with cleaning memory card contacts. use pure alcohol and small piece of cotton to clean dust or other dirt. if this not help, try some card reader to transfer images from camera to PC. try also with some other camera. it's possible memory card is damaged and you can't do nothing. try reinstall nikon software on your PC.
