Hello the mp3 docter says you should go to the site for stuff but that's not really necessary. Don't get me wrong he might be right. as a matter of fact he is kinda right but I have an easier way of doing it go to your sansa in my computer right click it and choose format and that will take all your problems away. Hope I helped bye!

Go to Sandisk's website, and either perform a firmware upgrade or the Sansa Recovery tool - those are the shortcut methods for getting the corrupt songs off your player - the DRM-encryption messages are probably playing havoc with this little player. Or, you could format the Sansa - that will erase the songs off of there.

Replaced SD card now Shaker won't play

Hi Cathi!

Few things you need to know about Sansa Shaker and the SD card:
  1. The Sansa Shaker DOES NOT support SDHC memory cards. Only regular SD cards are supported.
  2. Maximum capacity for supported SD cards - 2GB!
  3. Any SD card which doesn't meet the requirement above might cause the problem you encounter. REPLACE the card with a supported one - SD card with up to 2GB in capacity.
  4. No software/data is stored or needed to be on the memory card - apart from your music files.
  5. MP3 file type is fully supported by Sansa Shaker.
Regards,
Pelu.

First, make sure you are not using Windows Vista, Macintosh, Linux or any incompatible operating system

Second, check the manual and make sure the hold/lock switch is not engaged

www.sandisk.com is where you will get the driver software - it does sound like the problem
