Zire 71 and Palm TX coexistance in the same computer

Check and see if you can download a "mediaimpressions" driver. I have found it is great for downloading photos from any device. GOOD LUCK

You need to reinstall the software.

You can create a new profile and set your options again. It's more work but it will solve the problem.

Side note: I use a great program called eWallet from iliumsoft that supports Palm, iPhone, Windows Mobile, and more to store passwords in. Works great.

Hi----- hope this works--- you might need new update software.

1. Download Palm Software installer (.dmg file)
2. Ensure you are logged in to your Macintosh as a user with Admin privileges.
3. Double-click on the PalmSoftware installer file.
4. Enter your Administrator password when prompted.
5. Install or renstall Palm Desktop. Note: There is no uninstaller included.
   

What is this software? This software lets you sync your Palm device with your computer, so your info is backed up and easily editable on your computer.
Keep your information up to date wherever you are. When you sync, any changes you've made to Calendar, Contacts, Tasks and Memos are automatically added to your computer or your Palm device.
Palm Desktop is the desktop personal information manager. HotSync Manager controls synchronization. Both are included in a single download on this page.
If you sync with Microsoft Outlook or Entourage, you still should install this software.

PowerPC and Intel Core Duo Palm Desktop and HotSync Manager software works with both of these processors. We have found no significant new issues using our software with the Intel Core Duo processors found in Macs such as the MacBook Pro.
How To Install Before you begin:

1. Be sure you are logged in to your Mac with admin privileges. If you're not sure how to dothis, refer to Apple support.
2. Keep your Mac's admin password in mind. You'll need to enter it during installation.

Download & install:

1. Download the file and double-click it (PalmDesktopMac421Revd.dmg).
2. After your Mac mounts the file, a new icon named palmOneSoftware.pkg will appear in the same location. Double-click this item.
3. The Palm Desktop installer wizard will begin. Follow the onscreen instructions to install Palm Desktop on your Mac.
4. When installation is finished, you may drag and drop the palmOneSoftware.pkg item to the Trash, or archive it on your Mac hard drive for future reference.

Despite you have no software CD, you can get in PalmOne web site, and in the support and download section, you can download all the basic and need applications and software for it.

Try changing the HotSync settings
Select Desktop overwrites handheld for each conduit

Those two devices are not compatible to one another. You may get it to work by exporting the Palm desktop data into a CSV file and importing it into the program you use to sync the Itouch with.
