My TV has a red image like 3D or a red shadow. I've read other people have had the same problem and what they needed was the STK 392-110. I appreciate any assistance you can give.

Hey Zerp,

You need Convergence IC's. It is more difficult than batteries on a remote.

You access the convergence board through the inspection plate that is located behind the front speaker grill.

You remove the board, determine if any resistors are burnt, replace any burnt or out of tolerance resistors, replace 1 or 2 IC's and re-install the board.

Now you have to adjust it to look like new.

or try the find a repair person part of this website, maybe you will be lucky and someone is listed nearby.

Most rookies doing this job will cause damage and not be successful, and pay double for someone to fix their mess.
