Just follow this simple steps. * Need to call customer care. * From any of you are friends number or relatives. * Tell them that your mobile is asking for puk2 code. * They will ask for your mobile number. * Tell them your mobile number. * They will tell you the code. * Enter that code to your mobile. * After entering the code your mobile will be fine.
if you are talking about the pin code: if you lose the pin code too many times it will ask your for a puk2 code. you will have to get the puk2 code from your cellular provider.
Hello
PUK2 are series of numbers that you need to use in case the PIN and PIN2 of your SIM card is blocked. In most cases, your operator or service provider is the best source of assistance with PIN and PUK codes. If the PIN code is entered incorrectly multiple times, your phone may request a PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) code. The PUK code is an 8-digit code provided by your operator or service provider. If the PIN2 code is entered incorrectly multiple times, your phone may request a PUK2 code also provided by your operator or service provider.
Hope this helps
Please don't enter any puk entry your self. Please ask your network provider. He will provide you the details. Its is not for your mobile but it is of your SIM.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ENTERING WRONG PIN/PIN2 THREE TIMES WILL BLOCK YOUR PIN/PIN2 RESPECTIVELY. IT WILL THEN ASK FOR PUK/PUK2. AND IF YOU WILLENTER PUK2 WRONG TEN TIMES. YOUR SIM WILL BE BLOCKED.
So you should contact your customer care and get the necessary details about puk numbers.
PUK is pin unblocking key, you can check for this at the back of your sim card's card holder.
it is written on this order i.e; PIN 1 0000 PUK1 00000000 PIN 2 0000 PUK2 00000000
the disadvantages when you lost you puk are 1. if you can't resolve the issue, you can't use your sim anymore 2. you need to take a lot of effort asking your PUK code from your network provider.
so the next time, you decided to enable the pin lock, be sure to write down your pin to a piece of paper and keep it in your wallet :)
the security code is the password saved to the SIM Card. if you swapped the sim out of another phone, you might think that the password entered on the old phone when turning it on, was part of that phone memory, when in fact, it is the SIM pin.
if you do not know this pin #, you need to enter the PUK2 code that was created as a backup password. hope you kept that handy.
your other option is to take it to a your phone provider's store and ask them to swap the sim out and assign the phone number to the new SIM card - but i do not know if this also takes across the pin# .
