SRS means SurRound Sound which is simulated to what is called BBE high definition sound enhancement i believe this was got from a car radio device from the word PREMIO it was a toyota premio
its used in tv sets and hi fi audio and car audio systems and NO its not a tv but a monitor, u will need a dvd car audio thats compatible and given they r custom made for premio u will need the exact march to use it.

The problem is in the selection ic, or a defective pad button. Have you tried the remote and the main controls on the stereo? to see if there is a difference.

Other than checking wires, making sure + on amp is linked to + on speaker, try changing the eq settings, or sit them next to a wall - walls help bass a lot.
