Question about GE 13TVR72 13 in. Combo
I put one of our home videos in to record it onto a dvd and it won't play or eject. It did not go in easily. Did I break something by forcing it in?

SOURCE: I have a 19TVR62
That sounds like dirty heads. Try a cleaning tape, but I have never had those work. You need chammy swabs, and rubbing alcohol and you clean the heads manyally. Hopefully your vcr comes out with only a few screws.....
Clean the heads parallel to tape path, not up and down the video drum. If you do parallel direction, it is hard to damage the heads...
Clean other items along the tape path and remove all hairs that you can find..but hte heads are the part not working, common for tape dust to accumulate and harden.
