Files copied onto kingston dt1/16gb usb get garbled.

Many people don't realize this, but flash memory wearsout the more you delete and write files to it. How quickly it wears out willdepend on the specific flash drive. Like anything, there is a wide range ofquality in currently available flash memory-based drives. You can make a roughcorrelation with the cost/quality of the device (what you pay is what you get),but even that tends to change over time. Depending on usage and quality itcould be talking as short as months or as long as several years. In extremecases of misuse it could lasting as little as a few weeks.

KINGSTON FLASH DRIVE NOT RECOGNISED BY MY MAC

Try troubleshooting option for the drive and see the drivers.

If it says that ur device either doesn't have or doesn't require drivers then ur device is dead and get it replaced.

I think, only this is ur problem.

Removing of write protected from kingston USB

is there a small switch on the side of the drive, which can be moved. its basically for write protection.

Otherwise its a problem with drive, and you need to format it. If that is not working then your drive has got corrupted and needs a replacement.

I have bought a 2GB USB flash drive made by kingston. But iam getting a problem when iam going to use it. The problem is it is not recognising to my PC Doesn't recognize to pc

1. does the LED light come on?
2. Try the drive on another PC (friends)
if both of the above does not work, you might be having a defective Pen drive, if you have warranty , suggest you take it to the shop you bought it from.
