Hi
If you could tell me the model number and make of your camera I can locate the site for you to buy a new power supply. As it is, all I can reccomend is that you do a google product search or search on sites such as amazon for "(your camera name) power supply"

There will almost definately be somewhere that sells replacement power supplies.

Hope this helps
Philip

Power supply units on SWDVR 83425H keep failing and have to be replaced. We are unable to use 4 of our 8 cameras

If power supplies consistently fail there is either a fault on the appliance or the power supply is not sufficient for the work, most likely the latter.

I suggest you look at the specifications and add up the current required for the DVR and all the cameras and compare it with the output current of the power supply.

The power supply should be able to provide at least 40% more current than the installation requires. For cool running and reliable long life double is more realistic, but basically the bigger the better. Because a DVR and camera installation tends to cost more than pocket money the power supply should be a good quality unit with as much built-in regulation and protection as possible.

I hope this helps.

I need help sony dcr-sr78 shutdown itself i need solution

hi,
I understand that the power supply is not working in your camera if you tested with both battery and charger, then there must be fault in side, must open it, measure the dc power from the primary point to the mother board up to where the power supply goes, on the mother board several fuses lays, if any of it open should replace with the same ampere fuse, voltage regulator SMD could be faulty, if you don't get fault in these all, then check the processor chip.

I tried to connect a power supply to my Canon Powershot A560. (wont ever do THAT again.) I am getting the "lens error, Restart camera" message. The lens ill not close either. How do I restart?

Unfortunately I fear that you have plugged a wrong power supply and possibily damaged the camera mainboard. Since these boards are very delicate just a momentary power can damge these circuits.Hence I request that since the fault occured due to a forced problem it is important that you take help from a camera service centre or preferably Canon to look into the seriousness of the fault. take estimate and decide if resonable. Good day

TV will not turn on, the green light on the transformer blinks on and off

This fault is often reffered to in the trade as tripping...basically at startup the power supply starts to supply power and then shuts the tv down and this process continues...since this is an lcd with an external power supply i would suspect this to be faulty...on many of these compact power supply units the capacitors dry up swell/bulge and leak loosing capacity the hardest part may be opening up this power supply casing screws are often located underneath rubber footpads. look for bulging capacitors on output side of power supply be carefull not to make contact with primary reservoir on ac power side you will likely find it is a capacitor of +/- 2000uf rated at 12V..this is a common fault and often a repeat fault i have found this fault to be linked or provoked by bad and noisy ac supply where air conditioners drills power tools etc are plugged into the same wall socket outlets etc

Possible software problem?

I don't remember a little camera light on the control panel of my 6110 (though there is a little telephone light on the left side that usually indicates the fax/modem line is in use), but it sounds more like an electrical fault. I suppose you could try to replace the power cord and power supply, but my guess is that the fault is intermal. You're most likely looking at taking the printer in for service. Good luck.
