Re: my power supply is fault
Hi If you could tell me the model number and make of your camera I can locate the site for you to buy a new power supply. As it is, all I can reccomend is that you do a google product search or search on sites such as amazon for "(your camera name) power supply"
There will almost definately be somewhere that sells replacement power supplies.

Hi, First check-up your power supply parts. if it is blower fan working, if not. Try disconnect your power supply unit also all wire connected into motherboard disconnect. And then check-up your power power alone. just short color Gray and Green. see your blower fan for Working. if it is not your power supply defective need to replacement same watts and specification.
Just let me known if not yet working your PC. Thanks for using Fixya
Sometimes this happens. A newly procured item also does not work. In order to check that your smps is working or not just unplug every output from it and give power supply to smps and check whether the fan is running or not. If not then smps is faulty.
check to see if the power supply is humming by pressing it firmly to your ear, if this is ok check the conection into lapotop by holding it at slight force to one angle then to another angle. if power supply dont have a humm it means its the power supply. if the laptop flashes on and off while you shake this wire it means its the conection faulty.
try give us some mroe detail such as lights that come on. or when and how it happend.
Try a new USB port- also pull out the tape/card/storage device from the camera and try using a different adapter or reader to the computer. I would also try a different computer if none of that worked. Also make sure the camera is charged.
Could be your harddrive is out of the system. Check its connections first, then have it detected. If not still been detected try changing cables and power plugging(interchange if it can). Other done than maybe failed drive already.
And before I forgot remove any other booting disc, usb, or flash card. Maybe you left one. Or try to lessen your fan usage during fault finding.
It sounds like a fault with the power supply bus feeding the video processing circuit. It probably wont cost to much to get fixed, however make sure you get a quote on labour and parts. It may be and end of line model and parts could be quite expensive to get hold of. Also if possible find a regisered repair man in your area, usually you can do this by ringing up JVC themselves as they often keep details on file. Just make sure you asses wether it would be cheaper to just buy another tv, or to go ahead with the repair. Let me know if this helped.
