Right click on your desktop and go to properties and you will find the settings. If that does not work you need to update your driver.

Driver Install;
Look on the Company site under drivers and downloads. You will have to put in your model first and then the serial number sometimes. After you find your product you will find the drivers and more programs if they have any.
After you download the driver you might have to put it in a folder for it to be stored in. After you put it in a folder, unzip it in that folder and it should have an .exe file. Click on this and it should do the install. If it does not do your install you can go to the Device manager and click on the device and tell it to install or upgrade the driver. Then you will need to direct it to the folder where you have the unzipped file. This should correct your problem.
You can click on my name from now on and I will do my best to answer your question within a day.

My computer resolution is less how can i increase

Hi mail2stamang,
I've read your "Post"
"I will assist you in solving the resolution fix!".
"First you want to paul7of9_172.jpg right click on a 'empty area' of the "Desktop screen!"
When the {shortcut menu} open;
Select, and click on the [Personalize] shortcut.
Next, scroll to find the "Display Settings," and click on it to open!"

paul7of9_173.jpg
paul7of9_177.jpg Adjust resolution: (Low>High) scale bar.
Click on the "Apply, and OK buttons, when you are finished making the changes!"
This should fix the "resolution!"

You can also explore some of the other features:
  • Colors: (16 bit> 32bit...)
  • Advanced Settings
  • ("Check device status").
  • "Update Drivers" (Only if, necessary?)
  • "List All Modes" select valid (modes) for the monitor.
*Note: Always click on the 'Apply', and 'OK' buttons after making changes.

!Important: "Take a 'moment to rate the help', so I can get 'credit' for the work.

Thank you!" - paul7of9

I can not increase the resolution of my desktop. processor is intel pentium 4

The resolution of your desktop will be fixed by the graphics settings which you have installed. In many of the systems, you can have only 1024*768 or 800*600. Try getting a graphics card of some lower configuration and then you will be able to get the desired screen resolution you want.

Hi, I am facinf the issue with the display. The resolution is coming as 640X480 and color depth is coming as 16 bit. Please tell me solution.

That would point to a driver problem. If using the onboard graphics card the go here

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Default.aspx

Enter requested Info and download the drivers.

If using another graphics card then go to the vendors site for driver download.(eg Nvidia)

Drivers for Intel D845 GVSR mother board

The best place to download drivers is always the manufacturer's website. The Intel drivers for this motherboard are found here :)

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Product_Filter.aspx?ProductID=1065

Since the 845 graphics chip does not have internal DX9 support there are no Vista drivers for it The 945 graphics is the first Intel chip for which there are Vista drivers available from Intel.

You can try the XP drivers. All depends on how different the chips are. Be sure to set the Install.exe program to XP compatibility (Properties dialog) and then run as administrator. Be sure to create a restore point first!

If you look at this document http://download.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/d865gbf/sb/c3263401.pdf

under chapter 1.2.1 or 1.10 you can see that the audio use Analog Device AD1985 codec.

Now, if you look at this link http://www.analog.com/en/obsolete/ad1985/products/product.html you will see the details of the codec.

As you can notice the record portion is 16 bit while the play portion is based on 20 bit.

Let me know if you need additional information

Intel celeron cpu 2.40 ghz,the sreen resolution is too low,the color quality endup on [4 bit].so i dont get a clear screen.

Have installed latest driver for your motherboard and it got nothing to do with the processor. The screen resolution is generated by Graphics or video chips of MB. Check the device any yellow questions for driver if any try install all the drivers first. If problem persist give all details of system.
