I have a compaq presario cq56 115dx and i dont know how to use the camera like on skype i want to make a video call and i cant

This model Compaq laptop does not have a built-in WEB cam.
You can check the specs from this WEB site.
http://www.cnet.com/laptops/compaq-presario-cq56-115dx/4507-3121_7-34498057.html

To use video call with Skype you need to purchase an USB WEBcam, connect the WEBcam into the Compaq laptop's USB port and install the WEBcam driver that came with the WEBcam.
Then configure Skype - select the WEBcam and mic.

My webcam supported softwares cant detect my inbuilt webcam.it is showing to turn on the webcam but it is already inbuilt in my laptop.

You need to use your chipset CD given by your laptop provider and install the driver for your web cam. If you don't have tat CD see the configuration details of your web cam and search in google for the driver software.

Webcam driver probably did not install properly.

Go to Device Manager. Unistall the Webcam. Reboot.

Vista will scan for new hardware, locate the Webcam and reinstall the driver.

Good luck.

Web cam locks up after a few minutes on

There are many reasons that cause lockup. However you can try some most possible options to resolve the issue.

Uninstall the camera driver and install again by using different USB port. Use the additional tune-up of camera software (depends on the model). Check the camera's latest driver update online (since you havent indicate the model I am unable to provide link). Please post the outcome if issue still persists.

Good Luck
