Go video is made by LG. You have to replace the VCR in the combo.

I would like to buy a vhs tape that i can slot a video 8 tape into where can i buy

You can't. They don't exist because Video 8 is a completely different technical format to VHS and so whatever you did to physically get a Video 8 tape into a VHS machine, the hardware would simply be unable to do anything with it. Apart from chew it up...

Perhaps you're confusing the existence of VHS-C to VHS adapters where the smaller (but technically fully compatible) VHS-C tape is able to play in a standard VHS machine?

Sorry to disappoint you, but I hope that you have still found my reply to be of use and that you'll take a moment to rate my answer.

I cannot remove a vhs tape from my Mitsubishi HS-U51 player. HELP! KEN

If you are handy,
1) Unplug unit from power outlet before you do anything.
2) Take the top off /remove - screws usually phillips on both sides.
3) You will probably find the tape of the VHS wrapped around or pulled out of the cassette so you could cut the tape and probably pull the VHS out of the unit.
4) This deck sounds like it will need some cleaning and attention.
Might be a good idea to take it into a qualified TV repair shop and mabe for a small fee they can clean it.
Blessings,

I have a broken VHS cassette.

You can remove the 4 or 5 screws at the bottom of the tape, turn the tape over CAREFULLY pull the top off. If the tape pulled out of the end of 1 spool, you have to remove the clip in the tape hub, reinsert the tape and snap the clip back in. Holding the tape door open so as not to catch tape, put top back on and replace screws. Hope this helps.

TV recorder wont record from TV. All cables work and are plugged in

WHAT "" system needs to be calibrated and then configured ""........""It works fine otherwise""
Disconnect the VCR from anything. place a vhs tape with information [picture of something you don't want any more or a vhs tape that you want erased] in the machine. The tape at the back left TAB must be covered to promit recording. turn machine on,shub the tape in, press record. if after a time and you REWIND, and the begining is blanked of picture information...........the recorder [VHS] is working. looking to see the cables and how they are connected.

Can't put a VHS in

If the VHS isnt going in it may require a little force as the track might have gotten stuck with dust. if you think its something else i suggest you openj it up and see if these is anything logged in the carriage way or if the tray might just be stuck. once it is open simply insertthe vhs tape and keep pressing in on it until the machine takes it in. while pressing keep you eye on the carriage and see hwat might be stuck as to preven the tape from entering. BUT I THINK IT MIGHT JUST REQUIRE A LITTLE FORCE as it may be binded with lack of use
