Paper jam will not go off their is no paper jam in side, and the ligth cover the display and will not go off so i can not reset the printer i think it is the motherbord but can not find one on the net i have two x8350 one that lexmark replaced and the old one i move the bord to the old and get the same thing the old one would not turn on at all and they replace it but they will not replace this one

Error 5C10 means a paper jam or the printer has encountered an internal error. And error 6A00 is caused due a paper jam in the sheet feed unit or near the print head. You can also reset the printer to resolve this issue. On the printer press and hold the ON/OFF button or unplug the power cord. Wait for 10 seconds, press power button ON/OFF button again. If this doesn't resolve the error code then unplug the printer for 10 minutes. Also, inspect the back panel of the printer for any paper jams. To clear the paper jams---

Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord and USB cable. Remove the jammed paper slowly using the following procedure. Open the rear cover to check if the paper is jammed. Pull out the cassette and check if the paper is jammed inside the cassette area. Stand the printer with the rear side down, holding the document cover. Press the tabs together and pull the green cover toward you. Check if the paper is jammed. (If you were not doing Duplex printing, you do not have to follow this procedure.) Close the green cover and place the printer back to a normal position. Reconnect the power cord and power on the printer. Confirm the Alarm light is off. Load paper back into the ASF or cassette. Press to clear the message and continue printing. If you are printing from application software, follow the instructions displayed on your computer. Hope this helps... there still some paper left in side that you dont see .keep looking.

Try to check the paper road.Most HP printers displays "paper jam" when the paper feed motor is defective.

check the paper jamed or not other wise try to reset your printer

Epson Stylus Printer

Please remove catridges from the Printer.

Clean the place with a white cloth along with cleaning liquid in the seat, where the catridges are sitting.

Use genuine Catridges for this Epson printer.

Dust and other things to be removed from the Printer.

Insert the papers in the In tray and check for the paler pulling sensor is working properly.

Paper jam can be taken care, after carefully removing small pieces of papers jammed in the printer.

Finally switch off the printer and machine and reboot the system.

Still problem comes, please contact the local printer engineer to assist you in this issue.

Solution: Press ON/OFF switch to reset the multifunction device

Reset the device when it is not functioning properly. If the device is not functioning properly or to clear memory, reset it.

1. On the operator panel, press and hold the <ON/OFF> button for one second. (The display will go blank.)
   
   Note: It may be necessary to unplug the power cord if pressing the ON/OFF button does not shut off the printer.
   
   
2. Wait approximately ten seconds and then press the <ON/OFF> button again.
   
   
3. Wait until the device has completed its cycling process before submitting another job request.

1. Turn off the printer.
   
   
2. Remove paper from the ASF.
   
   
3. Gently pull the jammed paper out.

1. If paper is visible from the ASF, use both hands to pull the paper out slowly.
   
2. If paper is visible from the paper output slot, use both hands to pull the paper out slowly.
   
   

1. If the paper tears and a piece of that remains inside the printer, open the scanning unit (printer cover) and remove the paper from inside the printer.
   
   Note: Be careful not to touch the components inside the printer.
   
   
2. Turn on the printer and confirm that the Alarm light is off.
   (If the jammed paper remains in the printer, the paper may be automatically ejected.)
   
   
3. Load paper back into the ASF.
   
   
4. Press <OK> to clear the message and continue printing. If you are printing from an application software, follow the instructions displayed on your computer.

Clearing credit card-sized paper jammed inside the printer
Credit card-sized and 4" x 6" sized paper must be loaded properly. If this media is not loaded properly, it will feed into the printer and will not exit. Credit card-sized paper should only be loaded in the ASF and in portrait orientation. 4" x 6" sized paper can be loaded in the ASF or cassette. But must be loaded portrait orientation.
If credit card-sized paper was loaded in landscape orientation in the ASF and did not eject (exit), please follow this procedure.

1. Turn off the printer.
   
   
2. Load the same paper type that is jammed inside the printer in portrait orientation.
   
   
   
   
3. Power on the printer.
   The paper stock in the ASF will automatically feed the jammed paper from the printer.
   
   
4. To resume printing, load the paper in portrait orientation.

If 4" x 6" sized paper was loaded in landscape orientation in the cassette and did not eject (exit), please follow this procedure.

1. Turn off the printer.
   
   
2. Open the rear cover.
   
   
3. Fold in four a piece of letter-sized plain paper.
   
   
4. Push in the folded paper until it hits the jammed paper.
   
   
   
   
5. If the jammed paper is visible from inside the printer area, pull it out and proceed to step 7.
   
   
6. If the jammed paper cannot be pulled out, push in the folder paper from the rear so the jammed paper is in between the feed rollers.
   
   
7. Pull out the folded paper and close the rear cover.
   
   
8. Power on the printer and confirm that the Alarm light is off.
   The jammed paper should automatically eject.
   
   
9. To resume printing, load the paper in portrait orientation.

you probably ripped off a sensor or 2 call me 310-930-6348

Found solution myself.. The paper sensor arm with flag and sensor was missing from the exit side located on the fuser assembly.. Customer apparently broke off prior to calling for us to repair. Solution-replaced fuser assembly clean and tested works great
